Xo rains have come to the relief of the dionth strieken regiĆ³n and the sulfering is intense. The droulh extends f rom the far wetten) grazing lands across the state for 800 miles to the pine regions borderlng on Loulsiana. Cattle are dying, vegetation is burnlng up and business is almost paralyed because of the uncertainty of the crops.
