The boiler on the elevator in Unntiugton, W. Va., exploded the other morutng, instantly kilüng three men and wonnding half a dozen others. The engine was run by an oíd locomotivo boiler that had been condcinned olï the Cbesapoako & Oliio roail, and the engineer was inexperienced.
