Tho third symptom is the increased rate of respiration or rapid breathing and when he patiënt is in a state of rest and habitual respiration j as high as twenty or twenty-one to the minute, would cause a physician lo suspect lungdisease, cspecialïy if tested by the spirjhmeter show a diminished or insufficient lung capaoity This can also be tested by a lape abut the chest, and or a man of ordinary sizein health from two and a half to three inches represents the diilerence between full expirat'on and inspiration. -Dr. Foote's Health Motnhly
