The Michigan erop report for October ndieates that the wheat product of Michigan for the present year amounts to 22,M5,153 bushels. The average yield per acre is 138-10 bushels. The wheat product as above estimated, is about 47,0S0,00J bushels less than the erop of 1SS6, and more than r.(i,0üü,0üU bushels less than the average annual product in the oight years f rom "78 to 't5. A convass made by correspondents In the southern four tiers of counties furnishes data for th following statements : Three farmers in eaeh hundred raised less than five bushels of wheat ver acre; 19 farmers in each hundred raised 5 to Hl bushels per acre ; '■', I farmers in each j bundred raised 10 to 1" bushels per acre, and '-'.f farmers in each hundred raised 15 to 20 bushols per acre. Footing it we find that 84 farmers in each bundred raised in lti7 less than :.O bushels of wheat per acre. The yield per acre of oats in the southern four tiers of countios is 3O.:;ö bushels in the central connties 9.05 bushels, and in the northern counties 23. ;:; luisbels. Barlev averages 21. 1B bushels per acre in the state. Corn is estimated to yield l'.'.i bushels ol ears in the southorn eounties, 54 bushels of ears in the central counties, and 45 bushels in the northern counties. These figures indícate an average for the state of about 20 bushels of shelled corn, or about two-thirds of an average erop. Potatoes will yield not to exceed onethird of an average erop. The estimated coiii parison with n f uil average is 28 i er cent. in ti e southorn counties and 4:i to 45 per cent. in the central and northeru sections respectively. Winter apples will yield about one-half on average erop.
