Where no eareworn fatlier Tbe bruut of worlt bears. And no rruy-balred mother Is burdcued wltb cares; Wbere no tired eider Bist ' Is helper alone, But eacb one Is busy Till all work Is done. Tben mother bas leisure To laugh with her girls; Sh shares all tlieir seerets, They stuooth her soft caris, And deck her with blossoms, And fondly declare There never was mother ' So winsome and fair. And father Is jolly; Hls storiea and fun Are the Ufe of tbe household. He has not a son Who does not thlnk father Knows best and Is best, And would not work doubls That he mlebt take rest. So, helping each otber In labor or play, In happiness ever Tbe years pass away. For pleasures are brightest That many beurt share, And burdens are Ilïihtest That many hauds bear.
