Au ellort is being made to secure a $10,(100 orgau for univeraifcy hall, which is to be known as the Frieze memorial organ. This is soraething which hns long been needed in the university aud will be appreciatod accurdingly. The mother of Commodore -Matthew Galbtaith Perry, whose biography hsa just been published, was a remarkable womau.
