The following is from a Harleian MS. in the British museum: (No. 2252.) Lordlings, all of you I wam: lf the day tliat Christ was bom Fall ui on a Sunday, The winter sliall be good. I say, But great winds aloft shall be; The summer shall be fair and dry. By kind skill and without loss, Through alt lands tliere sliall be peaee, Good time fo all things to be done, But he that stealeth shall be found soou; Whatchild that day bom may be, A gieat lord he shall live to be.
