Grandma Oarfleld, mother ot the late James A. GarfielJ, died at her home in Mentor, O., last week. An immense international woman suffragiat oonvention is to be held m Washington trom Maren 25th to April 1. The court room was orowded Wednesded evening, to hear Judge Kinne's decisión in the injunction oase, which has caused considerable feeling throughout the city. The judge retuaed to grant an injunction and closud bis argament by saying: "I may be allowed to remark tlint personally I am, to say the least, conservativo npon the questions involved and dicussed on this üeiiring. 1 think the flnaucial eitution of the complainant iip peals Btrongly to the sympatüy of every rational and unpredjudiced mind, but this iüjunctiun eau not be granted without viuleace to the conscience of the court and the well settled principies of equity jurisprudeace. Itis, therefure my conclusión that the wnt must be denied and the order to show cause discharged."
