Cooper Robeson, lit, olass of '85, now one ot Ohio's representatives is in the city visiting old friends. T. O. Trueblood, professor of elocution in the law department, has donated $100 to the gymnasium fund. Prof. Morris lectured in Trinity ooilege, Toronto, Ont., last Friday eveniug on " Socialism and Pessimism." Prof. Carhart is to deliver the next lecture on the bible, at the .Methodist church Sunday morning after the sermón. Prof. II. C. Adams delivered a very able and interesting address last Friday evening on " Our National Surplus." Mrs. Prof. Stowell is now editor of the microscopical department of the tnaceutical Lra, published in Detroit. Dr. H. O.
