A young ohild of Abner Crump of the fífth ward, died of consuniption Tuesday. Jacob Boardman, of Peoría, 111., a resident of Ann Arbor over 20 years ago. died in that city June 16tb, aged 56 years. The remains were brought to tuis city, Puesday, for burial. Jacob F. KI ais, aged over 70 years, and he oldest drayman in tbis city, dropped dead of keart disease Wednesday evenng. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at hia late residence on Fourth Btreet. Raohel C, wife of D. Hunt, of Tower 3ity, Dak., formerly a resident of Ann Lrbor, died, in this city, Jane 21st, aged 47 yeare. The funeral will be held at the eaidence of Airs. M. J5. Foster, No. 26 tí. Jatharine street, Sunday at one p. m. Harriet S., wife of the late W.T. Brown, medical superintendent of the state inane asylum ot Stockton, Cal., and mothr of Mrs. T. Gilvray of this city, died une 20tb, of pneumonía. The father of be deceaaed was first cousin of President Tyler, and was president of Williams nd Mary college of Virginia. Funeral o-day at the residence on Paokard street t 3 p. m. Bev. Dr. Earp officiaürg. Miss Jennie Van de Venter, of tuis oity, ied Saturday, after a long and pamful Iness, of typhoid fever. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the resienoe of Mr. John Boylan, where she died. rtiss Van de Venter was employed for a umber of years at the Courier bindery n this city, and leavee many friends to monrn for her. The pall-bearers were E. E. Beal, Geo. H. Pon 3, W. W. Tidd nd C. IS. Davison, all eonnected with tie Courier establishment. Wm. A. Hatch, Sr., who bas beeD in oor health for some months, but he kept iround - not willing to give up, and wbo was around upon the streeta until a few weeks ago, died yesterday afternoon at neo'olock. Mr. Hatch was a resident f this oity for over 50 years, aod at one ime was in partnership with C. Spoor, of ;bis city. Mr. Hatch leaves a wife and our sons, Edward, Will A., Charles and lenry, all of this city, and many relaives and friends to mourn nis loss. Mr. j. Spoor and Wm. MoCreery were nis irothers-in-law. The funeral will be held t his late residence on E. Wilham street unday afternoon at 5 o'olook. Mr. Hatch was bom at Bramford, Mass., Aug. 6th 1816, coming to this city in 18:56.
