In the Justlees' Courts. C Plenty of business in the justice' court this week. The following cases were dinposed of by Justice Freuauff. Thomas Ryan, James Carrull, and John Rofjers were sentenced to jail for drunkcnness, 20, 25 and 30 days respectively . Christian Weidniann plead guilty to slandering Airs. Dora VVehner, and was fined $2.00 and costa which were paid. The case of Louis Farber, a tailor, for assault and battery upon Oscar Griesmann was adjourned until July 2d, for trial. Charles Benke for assault and battery on Fred Leubke, was fined $3.00 and costs. HEFOKE JVRT1CE POND. .lanĂ­os Clark was sentenced Saturday to the Detroit house of correction ior 60 days, charge vagrancy. James McGuire and Robert Burns were each given 10 daya in jail to sober off. Edward Tracy, vagrant, second offense, tried by jury, convicted and sent to the house of correotion at Ionia for 3 montbs. C. Powere, for burglarizing C. O. Clark' residence near the observatory, waived examination, and the case goes to the circuit court for trial. Hichard Kashue plead guilty to assanlt and battery, paid costs and was dischargcd. Curious typographical errors and verbal combinationp often occur in church papers. The New York Churchraan of last week reports that "at St, Thomas' Church, Homostead, Maryland. the Eev. Wm. Brayshaw, rector, is at once to be reshingled and otherwiRe repaired, and bids are now in hund; the cost will be some $600."
