Mrs. M. Stein, mother of U. F. Suin. died Tuesday, July 6th. Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly, of Northfield, died last Saturday at the advanced age of 80 years. The funeral was held Jlonday morning at the Northfield church. Bridget, widow of the late Owen Clark, died Monday over 80 years of age The funeral was held yeeterday at 8t. Thomas" cburch. Mrg. Clark was the mother of Pntrollman Clark. Will Parker, son of Mr. and Mrs. F L Parker, who went to California about one year ago, died in San Jacinto, last Saturday, of typhoid fever. He, together with Will Loomis, a fornier Ann Arbor boy.had purchased land and settled down into a veritable man of business. Hisparents had been kept informed as to his low oondition, yet his death was a great shock to them all. His mother was ín the east visiting friends, but returned Sunday. Will Loomis who has had entire charge of him during his siokness aocompanies the remaing home, and they are expected tomorrow or Monday when the funeral will be held at his parents' resideuce on Ann street. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement. Kev. James Vreeman, the grandfathea of Dr. James Freeman Clarke, was pastor of the historio King's Chapel in Boston. In 1785 he remodelled the Liturgy, and left word "obey" out of the marriBge servioe. It has never been U8ed in the service of that church since.
