For the reason that it has no star part and rcquires a large and expensiye compan.y, it has never been played much outside of New York, but the present production is a faithful one and includes nembers of the original cast when the j pieue enjoyed a run of over 400 niphts in New York City. The scenery.which is carried entire by the present company, and all the equipments are new, and money has not been spared in maling this one of the notable dramatic events of the season.
