London, Qct. 13.- The Archbishop of Canterbury was seized with apoplexy after the service commenced at Ha warden church Sunday morning. He was cariïed to the Hawarden rectory, where he died at 11:30 o'clock. The Rev. Archibald Farrar, dean of Canterbury, received a telegram from Stephen Gladstone, the rector of Hawarden church, stating that ti.e Archbishop of Canterbury passed away peacefully and suddenlyat 11:15 o'clock. He had attended the early communion. Dean Farrar, in preaching in the cathedral in the evening, referred to his forty-flve years' intimacy with the deceased prelate.
