Murdered By A Tramp

Nevada, Mo., Oct. 14.- The wife of C. D. Smith, a farmer living thirteen miles east of this city, was found dead in the house, with her head crushed. Her husband was digging patotoes in a field some distance away and had left his wife alone in the house. It is supposed she was murdered by a tramp.
