One More Suicide
James Shirley, who has beenfor soine time janitor at the Athletic ñeld, committed suicide by hanging last Thureday, at his lióme 011 Hill street. Friday morning a member of the family found him hanging toarafter in the garret, dead. ïhe deed was probably done in a fit of despondency, caused by drink and not being able to secure work. He had been at one time a hard drinker, and for some time had been making spasmodic efforts to reform. He lost his work at the Athletic field on account of his habits. He leaves a wife and two children. Coronor Ball impaneled a jury who rendered a verdict of death by suicide.
