Indianapolis, Nov. 11. - The eighteenth annual session of the Farmers' national congress began at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday in the Indiana hall of the house of representatives. The members present were rep'resentative men and leaders in the cause of agriculture. The congress was called to order by the president, B. F. Clayton of Indianola, Ia. Mayor Taggert delivered an address of weieome. Response was made by the secretary, J. M. Stahl of Chicago.
