Up (o Thursday noon the board of election commissioneis liad eumpleted the recount of the eities of Ana Arbor and Ypsilanti. Tn the count so far. Capt. Selmh has gained 20 votes, making hifi inajority at that time stand 45 instead of 25. When canvassing the vote of the second ward of Ypsilanti, Schuh, through his attorney, Mr. Xorris, challenged the entire vote of the ward, on the gronnd that the initials of the inspector had been marked in pencil and not in ink, and that they were not upon the proper corner of the ba), lot as prescribed by law. As the republican majoritiéd in this ward were in th neighborhood of 100 on each candidate, this would, if sustained, bring about the defeat of Andrew Campbell for senator, and John K Campbell for representative, and elect in their stead Messrs. McDougall and Woodruiï. The contest will undoubtedly be bitterly fought.
