It has been feit for sotne time that there we re several things thewheelmen of the city desired to see done, that would never be aceomplished without some united effort. Accordinglyabout 75 ladies and gentlemen gathered at the School of music last night to discuss the advisability of an organizatiun. L. D. Wines w;is chairnaan of the meeting, and II. J. Brown seeretary. After considerable discussion a constitution was adopted, and a club called"ïhe Ann Arbor ( vele Club"' was formed. About 60 persons joined the club last evening. The member ship fee was placed at 25 cents, and it is hoped that every person in the city who rides a wheel will join the club. One of the first objects of the club will be to clear the streets from glass, tacks, ei e. .put there for the purpose of injuring tires, une place in particular was mentioned where this was eonstantly done, and an effort will be made to stop this. For another thing the members feel that they ought to have some side-walk privileges, especially in the outskirta of the city and in bad weather. Many cities grant this, and an effort will be made to get the benefit of their experience for use here. It is also hoped to have an influence ín fixing upthe roads around the city, and perhaps solicit a fundand build a cyele path to Whit more Lake. , The ofneers of the Chibare: Dr. F.
