■ Mr. II. P. Lightha'l has decided that there is not error enough in the returns to elect him, and has so notilied Sheriff Judson. Accordingly he went down to eat at the sherilfs table as guest, il' he could not do so as host, and left the field í'or two years. At the end of that time he will undoubtedly be in the hunt again.
