New York, Nov. 16.- Walter B. Peters, one oL the gang of alleged forgers, was brought here from Chicago Friday. He was arraigned in the general sessions and committed to the Tombs. The speciflc charge against Peters is forgery in the first degree, for forging a draft of $125 on the National Park bank of this city. There are indictments against him in Illinois for forging postage stamps, and two of the members of the gai whioh it is supposed he belonged. are now serving sentences in Joliet prison.
