The annual business meeting of the association last Monday evening bro'ight out a good attendance, and proved the interest tliere is in the asso ciation, especially among the younger members. The board of directora had a meeting previous to the regular meeting, and proposed a set of nominations for the office of director The balloting brought out some new men for directors. Messrs. M. C. Mogk and R. E. Christman having re signed, six places were to be filled. Arthur E. Mummery was elected in place of F. iï. Belser. The high ap preciation which every member of the association has for President C. W. Wagner was shoivn by his unanimous re-election by acclamation. Geo. L. Moore was re-flected; and in place of L. II. Clement, the other retiring ber. Martin Haller was elected. The vacancies caused hy resignation were filled by the election of Messrs. Henry Richards and Alvick A. Pearson. The board and the association will gain much by the accession of men of business experience and judgment such as the new members have proven themselves to be. The board of dirctors will meet next Tuesday evening for re-organization. At the business meeting af ter the election the annual reports were heard, showing the work of the assoeiat'on to be in good shape. The only weak part was flnances, which cansed the directors to consider the advisability of dispensing with the services of the general secretary for the balance of the year. The members present did not feel satisfïed with such ;m arrangement. The rooms of the associatinn are becoming too popular, and they desire theni to be open all day. Accordingly the members present subscribed enough money to pay a portion of the necessary c-xr.enses. and a corrmittee wa appointed to secure the balance. It would seem that the citizens of the city should be interested enough in having such a place for their boys, to keep it going when it is done at such a moderte expense. "With a strong board of directors, a moderate equipment, the experience of the last few years, the association should do even better work in the future than in the past.
