The Roads Of Texas

A correspondent of The L. A. W. Bulletin, writiug from Texas, says the roads and streets in the uorthern and eastern portions of the state are generally good, but f or two ruonths the rain made the streets, oousistiugof six inohes of soft sand, almost irupassable for pedestrians or wheelmen. The poor horses were also deserving of sympathy. Texas is now actively and intelligently advooatiug good roads, and a change for the I better will be apparent soon, no doubt.
