Mr. Henry Cook has moved into his fine new house. Miss Ada Latson carne home from Aun Arbor to spead Sunday. Iiev. J. W. .stacey has registered at the University for some special work. Iva MeCall and family oí' Charlotte, visited Mr. McCall's father a few days recently. ïhe ladies home missionary society met last week with Mrs. Cranston. Dinner was served, and a pleasant afternoon pa'ssed. W. VV. Alexander,town treasurer, will be at the town hall every Friday this month, and at the Dexter Savings bank Saturdays, to receive taxes. The literary society met last vSaturday evening with h'd. Phelps. For an old bachelor Ed entertained them very nicely. A. pleasanr. program was given. ïhe young people are practicing for an entertainment to be given Saturday evening, Dec. 19th, in the Congregational church, for the benefit of the Y. P. S. O. E. Mis. Hyron Kenny and family and Mrs. Ira liackus, attended a surprise party given to S. O. Hadley, father of the 'ladies, at his home near Unadilla on Saturday last. A White Pigeon resident has a family which is something remarkable in the way of weight. There are six of them, the father and mother, a daughter and three sous, and their average weight is 202 pounds.
