Kev. Ferry Millar who lectured recently in the Y. M. C. A. course, liked our city very much, hut the following letter received from him, shows that one feature of our daily life did not strike him so favorably. "Milwaukee, "Wisconsin. Dec. 10, 18%. 81(0 Clement Ave. Frienu McAllasïek: - [ arrived home safely in due time, and wish to say that my visit to Ann Arbor was a delightfulone. The responsive audience that listened to the "Land of the Midnight Sun" was refreshing to me. There is one thing, however, that 'jT'ailv harassed me while " ith yon in that beautiful city, and that was your doublé standard of time. I con ld not get used to it. It kept me unsettled all the time I was thero. T hope the time will come when you will throw off that yoke of bondage. Kind regards to the family. Yonrs cordially, Perkt Mtllak."
