Language Teachers

Univeiity of Michigan was well represented at the meeting of the Modern Language Association in Cleveland this week. Prof. Geo. Hempl had a paper Tuesday afternoon, Prof. F. 2ï. Scott one Wednesday morning, and Prof. Geo. S. Hench one ïhursday afternoon. Besides these there was the address of the president, Prof. Calvin Thomas, so iately one of us; and Prof. Lawrence A. McLouth, '87, now of 2STew York University. Prof. Hempl is secretary of the phonetic división of the association.
