Virginia Bank Closed

Washington, Dec. 30.- Comptroller of the Currency Eckela has telegraphic notice that the Commercial National bank of Roanoke, Va., has closed its doors and suspended payments. Bank Examiner Sands was sent to take charge of the institution. . Mr. Eckels does not regard the failure as a serioug one.
