Mrs. John Schutte is very sick. Joe Cook has returned to Howell. Russell Parker's youngest son is very siek. Quish & Olsaver are invoicing this week. John Hall has returned home from Detroit. George L. Boyden is very sick with the grip. Mrs. Eobert Xorthard is very sick this week. James Lucas has been quite sick for the past ten days. Peter Reider made a business trip to Detroit Thursday. Tim Drislaine of Chelsea, came down Thursday on business. George Parker and family entertained the W. W. society this week. The Baptist society met Wednesday with Isaac P. Savery and family. Daniel Quish enter! ained the Pedro Club this week Tuesday evening. Morrell Goodrich has been confined to the house for the past ten days. Sheriff Judson was in town Saturday, looking for a good man for deputy. Ilenry Dwight of Stockbridge, was a welcome visitor on our streets Tuesday. Charles "Webster of the University was in town Saturday, canvassing for a Chicago tirni. Postmaster Costello has been eonfined to the house the past week with the rheumatism. Tuesday was Midwintei Circus day at Ann Arbor. A large number of our citizens attended. Thursday evenin the Lutheran society had a large and entertaining social at l harles Ulucher's. Con Finkbinder while falling trees last Friday, had the misfortune to I break one of his legs. Rev.
