Ed. Clark, who is machinist at the Tas, Label & Box factory, met with an accident Monday morning which, had it not been for "the prompt action of frank Stoll ttie engineer, might have resulted even more seriously than itdid. He was sitting in front oí the heater in the engine room when suddenly the door blew open, letting out a quantity. of boiling water and steam upon him ISIr. Stoll tore the steaming clothes olï from him in less time than it takea to teil it, thus keepinjr mucb of the heat away from his. person. As ,it is, he is badly scalded about his face, neck, shoulders, both legs and one hand, but his condition is not considered dangerous.
