Will Ilupely, the night operator, was in Detroit Thursday. Miss Leila Kelley was home from Ann Arbor over Sunday. Dr. Kichardson and wife of Ohio, visited T. W. Barnes SundayMoses Edwards closed his bakery and grocery store Monday. Miss Grace Debenham entertained a few friends Monday evening. Mrs. McLaughlin returned Friday from her visit at Petersburg. A. B. Smith and wife returned Wednesday from their Detroit visit. Miss Pearl Chritchett of London.spent Wednesday with Milan friends. Miss Eva Davenport of Mooreville, visited Milan friends Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Culver have taken possession of their farm near Azalia. Miss Julia Hasley of Maybee, is the juest of Christine Ilerkermer this week. Mrs. Eussel Wilcox and Mrs. A. E. Oardner spent last Friday in Ypsilanti. Miss Iva Pullen sprained her arm last week and is novv cirrying it in a sling. Miss Grace Davis was home from the formal last Friday, and returned Monday. ïhe town hall is completed at last, and the council room fixtures have been moved in. Mr. and Mrs. Whitmarsh entertained Mr. Anderson of Detroit a few days ast week. Robert McCauslin of Detroit, was entertained by K. E. Tripp aud family over Sunday. Webb Blackmer will begin driving the delivery wagon Monday, for UJackmer & Hitchcoc't. ifrs. W. R. Williams of this place, entertained her brother and sister of Ann Arbor last Sunday. A. II. Hack, over Sunday. Misses Xora Calkins and Stella Ward, Messrs. Wiliner. Kobison and Lloyd Ward, spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. M. eL Davenport of Moreville. Thirty-two converts of Moreville were baptized in the Milan J3aptist church Monday night. Services were conducted by Kev. Jierry of Moreville Baptist churcli. The third entertainment of the M. II. S. lecture course was given last Wednesday night by Iloyt L. Conary, who highly entertained a large audience for over an hour.
