Ira Walker will build a new house this spring. Peter Colé will start for the west in a few weeks. Some have commenced tapping their sugar bushes. Mrs. J. C. Gale has gone to Canada visiting friends. üliii Strong has ordered a new boiler for nis saw mili. Grant and Fred Kimmel will put up a new telephone. E. L. Strong is buying hay and straw now and pressing. There will be a dancing party at J. J. Knap's Friday evening. Linus Galpin has sold most of his apples to Detroit parties. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wilbur have gone to Detroit to visit friends. Edwin Quackenbush is home from the Business college, Ypsilanti. Charles Sweitzer has been on the sick list with some ot Job's eouiforters. ï. V. Quakenbush has been having a siege with la grippe but is some beiter now. The Free church have closed their series of meetings with several new members. Our Town ïreasurer has his eollecting done and settled with L'ounty treasurer. Everyone who wishes to haveweaving doue will do well to see Mrs. John Mulholand. Little lïalph Kimmel feil off of Mr. Clarks wagon, last week and was hurt ■quite badly. Sterns & Company have quit sawing on account of not having orders for their oak timber. George McDougall Jr. will start for Minnesota next where he is working at the blacksmith trade.
