Mrs. George Hughes and daughter of South Lyon, and Miss Kent of Detroit, were the guests of (ieorge S. Vandawarker and family over Sunday. Grove Campbell, well known throughout the eounty as a political hustler, now a snccessful practitioner in Detroit, was an Ann Arbor visitor on Wednesday. Hon. Jay A. Hubbell of Houghton, of the class of '53. has been in the city for a few days, taking treatment vinder Dr. Herdman, and revisiting old scènes and noting the changes the years have brought. Richard Burdick, game warden for Livingston eounty, was iu the city yesterday. "Dick" is a good fellow Vhen not on dutv in his official capacity, so ye Turkey Lake sports, watch out. He is different then - oh, how different! We kriow. Dr. Frank B. Powers, medie '9(5, is the guest of H. (1. Prettyman. Dr. Powers was formerly connected with a medicine college at Knoxville, Tenn., and is now Surgeon General of the Southern railway. He is on hifl way home from a trip to Europe.
