The soldiers monument has been erected in the ceinetery, and the cannons are soon to be put in place. The monument is a very line one, and repits a soldier standing upon a pedestal, the whole being about eighteen feet high. The monument will be dedicated on Memorial Day, May 30. Martin Conway, died at his home west of this village, last Sunday.
