One of our prominent millers has the 'ollowigg to say: During the past two or three years here has been considerable trouble in state caused by rye getting mixed in wheat. A large qnantity of wheat that vvould otherwise be of fine qualit y is utterly ruined for milling purppses by ;he rye that is mixed through the grain' and Ynany a dollar is lost to farmers that might easily and readily be sayed by the exercise of a litlle care dnring the next thirty days to cut the clusters of rye out of the wheat fields. Michigan millers require the best grade of perfec'ly clean wheat in order 10 proiuue llour of as fine quality as they have been making the past" ten years or more. Michigan first grade ilours are justly celebrated in the most discriminating markets both at home and in foreign countries. This reputation' cannot be mdintained except by the use of lirst-class grain. Wheat mixed with rye brings only a low price in any market. Farmers cannot spend a little time to better advantage than to go through the wheat fields in the early pare of June aud cut the rye out clean.
