Chicago, June 2. - The interstate commerce commission, in all its glory, began. a session in the United States circuit court room at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning, with numerous complaints, counter complaints and alleged violations of the interstate law upon its docket. A numerous crowd of railroad magnates fllled tht room wlien the gavel struck. Chairman William R. Morrison, Judge Teomans, and C. A. Prouty of Vermont sat in a stately row. Stenographers clustered to right and left, lawyers blinked. along the front row and the whole court room had all the appearance of a most important trial. So many cases, the commissioners say, are on the list that the session will last for ten days or more.
