Saved The Lives Of Ten Men

Clinton, la., June 15. - Albert Hardin's timelyrecollection of an abandoned shaft in the Torry mines saved the lives of ten imperiled miners. The dump and other structures owned by W. S. Bogle of Chicago had caught fire. Hardin got the miners into the abandoned shaft, where they were rescued later on.
