A Seven-year-old Suicide

Ralph ítaebler, the 7-year-old son of Emil Staebler, who lives near Jiirkett's Mills, cornmitted suicide last Tuesday afternoon by drowning. It seems that lie was a very strong willed boy, and he took olïense at the amount of work he wasrequired to do. Ilis two brotliers missed hiin about three o"elock in tlie afternoon. AVlien his father inquired for him in the evning he was told that fact, and for some reason he immediately surmised that the boy had done somcthing of the kind. The river was searched, and about nine that evening his body was found a few rods from the dam. He was fully dre-sd, showing that his death was evidently his own premeditated act. It is an unusual occurrence for one so young to do such an act.
