"I ara," replied the demure oue. "Whatdid he say?" "He didn't say a thing. " "What did he do?" There was a pause, and the demure little girl ceased to be demure for a minute in her excitement. "He didn't do a thing," she said at last. "Why, the ignorant brute!"
