To Honor Schuyler Colfax

South Bend, 111., Aug. 4. - A statue of the late Vice President Schuyler Col'ax is to be ereeted in this city, his lome, where his family now live. The tnoney will be raised in South Bend, and requests for sums will be sent to üebecea lodges throughout the unión. Irs. Colfax was founder of the Rebeeca lodge, and it is believed lodges all over the country will respond. It is proposed that the statue shall occupy a niche on the Washington street side of the ïnagnificent court house now uilding here.
