A little army oí artisaas is at work in the opera house putting it in readíness for the next theatrieal season, which opens in Septemiber. Stabler & Co. are doing the painting, and Kenny fc Quiulau and Schneider Bros, the plumbing, while Charles Sauet and William Xiethamine-r are the werkers in wood. The manager feared he would be obliged to go out of the city for a curtain, but this will'iiot be necessary, as he has found a sconie artist in the person of Mr. W. E. Pew. w)n promises a flrst-class production. So all of the work on the building will be done by Aun Arbor artista. The manager also has the pleasure oí' antamncing to Aun Artooc theatergoers that he has sncoeofléd in eagaging the Ann Arbor orcliestra for the coming sea son.
