Monday was the closing day of the Detroit Conference of the M. IS. ehurch at Porl Huron and was giv-oti up to the work of clearing away the ■ mass of miscellaneous business whSch always accnmulates for the closinj hoürs of the session. Mi. Cleruens was cHosen for the seal ot the ih'xi conference. The ministerial appolntment wece made at a hile hour Monday. As '.■ir as they are likely to interest our readers they are given below: E. II. Shler is transferred from the Adrián lo the Detroit district, and E. VC Uvan. of Ypsilanti, is appointed presiding eider of the Adriau district, which hereafter will be kaown as thö Ana Arbor district, e. T. Alleu, the retlring presiding eider of Detroii iistrict, takes Dr. Kyan's place in the Ypsilanti church. E. B.
