Ann Arbor is not beliind in contribatiojis to the stock of labor, iealtiJ and 'money-saving inventlons, for Mr. E. L. Schneider, of the plumbing firm of Schneider Bros., has perfected a gas heater for the purpose of quicltly and cheaply heating water for the tath and otüer purposes, which ia not oniy a vast improvenient over anything in the market, but is mucb cheaper in its first cost, cheaper in the cost of fuel and quicker in resulta than any other device of like eharacter yet produced. The Sehneider heater is simple in every part of its construction, safe and indestructible and is tured right here in Ann Aïbor. It is so construeted that all of the heat is utilized and the water at every turn comes into contact with the heated air. The result of this is that vhe eonsumption of g-as is less tliau onehalf that of auy other heater. The burner has a peculiar construction whieh throws the flame rigUt where it is needed. No part of rhe heater can be injured by 'heat. The pilot lighter has an autónatie moveiuent which prevenís accident from inexperienced help lightiog the gas. So carefully is the heat utilized that water for a bath can t? heated for % of a cent, and so quickly does the heater do lts work that the bath is rcady by the time the bather has disrobed. The utility of this invention will be appreciated by. those who enjoy the luxury of a sumiier bath and dislike the long, costly and uucomfortable process of warming -water in a hot water boiler. In the winter time it will be a most desirable adjunct to a hot water boiler, where tfcere are many to bathe and the supply of hot water soon runs out. These heaters are on exihibition at the plumbing store of Setineider Bros., on W. Washington street. If you hava norfiing of trliis kind it will pay you to visit them nud investiyate.
