Will Adjourn Next Week
3pringfield, 111., Feb. 17.- For over an hour the republican members of the house and senate wrangled over the question of adjournment in joint caucus today and finally adopted the following resolution: "Resolved, That t ia the sense of this caucus that this general assembly should adjourn sine die this week. That to this end the republican steering committees of the house and senate are hereby directed to secure the attendance of every memlier at the earliest possible moment, and that the conference committee on the revenue bill is earnestly requested by the caucus to use every effort to reach an agreement and report at the earliest moment possible. That upon the day of the passage of the pending revenue bill the general assembly adjourn sine die." This action means that adjournment will come next week.
