Business Changes

Ypsilanti seems to be undergoing an epidemie of business changes of late. First, Fred Lamb drew out of the flrm of Lamb, Davis & Kishlar. Then Geo. Harris decided to go out of business here and will engage in the merchantile brokerage business in Detroit. Now F. H. Barnum and Frank Showerman, who have been doing a jewelry' and stationery business under the flrm name of F. H. Barnum & Co., have dissolved. Negotiations have been going on looking to this end for the past week, but a final agreement was just entered into this morning. Mr. Showerman is the retiring member of the firm and Mr. Barnum will continue the business. For the present Mr. Showerman will remain with Mr. Barnum as watchmaker and clerk, but he has no deflnite plans for the future as yet.
