Alzlna Morton, eldest daughter ofj the late Jonathan G. and Alrnlra Morton, early and prominent pioneer oí Washtenaw county, was bom in Ypsilanti, Maren s, 1828. She died at her "ld home, now occüpied by Mr, and -Mis. James Holmes, two mtles south of the city of Ypsilanti, on seventleth liirt):-l:i-, Tuesday evenlng, March S, 1898. Thres sisters survive her, Mrs. Q A. Sesslons of Ann Arbor Mrs l'1'i' ! towa, and Mrs James Holmes of ïpsllantl.
