Bids For Both

The common council had a long and busy session Tuesday, its labor being conflned to the consideration of the latest puving petition. This petition when presented had 65 per cent. of the Main street property represented upon it and as such was aceepted by the council. The board of public works was sitting in special session in the supervisors' room across the hall. The board received the reference from the rouncil and in turn recommended certain plans and specilications for the pavement. These were slightly altered by the council. The council then voted to advertlse at once for bids for both brick and asphalt pavement. artistic effects. and room moulding. and it is worth one's time to nspect it
