NOTICE OF DRAIN LETTING. Notice is Hereby Givcn, That I, D. W. Barry, County Drain Comniissioner of' the County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, 'will, on the 4th day of May, A. D. 1898, at the lower end of drain, in said Township of Augusta, at nine o'clock in the forenoon of that day, proceed to receive bids for the deepening and wideningof a certain Drain known and designated as "The Marsh Drain," located and established in the said Township of Augusta, and described as follows, to-wit: at Section Line 35 7-25 rods East of the North West corner of the East half of the North Eastquarter of Section 25, T. 4, S. R. 7, E. The above described route is the center line of said drain and follows the channel thereof. The intersection of farm lines is noted. 25 f eet on each side of the center line of said drain is taken to deposit excavations and for convenience in digging'. Also the out of the said drain f rom said R. R., to the north line of South 6 acres of the West half of West half of North East quarter of Section two, 1.60 chains East of the North West corner thereof. Said job will be let by sections. The section at the outlet of the said drain will be let first, and the remaining- sections in their order up stream, in accordance with the diagram now on file with the other papers pertaining- to said drain, in the office of the County Drain Commissioner of the County of Washtenaw, to which reference may be had by all parties interested, and bids will be made and received accordingly. Contracts will be made with the lowest responsible bidder giving' adequate securitv for the performance of the work, in a sum then and there to be fixed by me, reserving to myself the right to reject any and all bids. The date for the completion of such contract, and the terrns of paymeut therefor, shall be announced at the time and place of letting. Nolice is Further Hereby Civen, That at the time and place of said letting, or at such other time and place thereáfter to which I, the Drain missioner aforesaid, may adjourn the same, the assessments for beiiefits and the lands comprised withiu the "Big Marsh Drain Special Assessment District." and apportionments thereof will be announced by me and wilt be subject to review for one day (from nine o'clock in the forenoon until five o'clock in the afternoon). Are hereby notified that at the time and place aforesaid - or at such other time and place thereafter to which said hearing may be adjourned I shall probeed to receive bids for, the construction of said big Marsh drain in the marnier hereinbefore stated and also at such time of letting, from niiie o'clock in the forenoon to five o'clock in the afternoon the assessments for benefits and lands comprised within the big Marsh drain Special Assessments district will be subject to review. And you, and each of you owners and persons interest in the aforesaid lands are hereby cited to appear at the time and place of said letting as as aforesaid, and be heard with respect to such special assessments and your interest in relation thereto if you so desire, D.
