The Thirty-third regiment, Michigan Volunteers, uissed through this city mi their way to Falls Church, Va., about 2:30 p. m., Saturday. Saturday Agent Gilmore received provide 122 gallons of colïee for the men and this, was scalding hot for the soldiers when they reached here. The boys seemed to relish it immensely. All on the quiet the Ann Arbor road made a present of four cases of beer and three boxes of cigars to the 46 officers of tiie regiment. The Woman's ' Corps took down a quantity of delloacies for the several Ann Arbor and students who had joined the Thirty-third. About the flrst man who Jumped off train was Denny Donahue, the i! sketch artist who is sent down to correspond and Ilústrate for the Detroit Evening News. Said he to The Times: "You can stato that beyónd any question Major Nancr2de is the pi pular man in the regiment. Stuck on him? Why, there isn't a man in the Thirty-third but that would do anything in the world for the major. He's all right."
