Miss Marshall has been superintendent of the and fitM'partment for many years. When we began in the fall we feared we could keep the school open but a few weeks, as we were about out oí funda. It takes about 75 a year to run the school, and it is on];, through the generosity of our friends thal we continue our work year af ter year. Miss McMonagle and the Ann Arbor Music company each gave us a benefit during the winter which wiih donations from friends enabled us to carry on our work to the present time. Mr. Cutting remembered us with a large donation of material for g-arments, and the merchants assist us generously. We thank all our friends for the aid given ns, and espeoially rrateful to Messrs. Beal and Godtrey for the use of the room wh ■ hold our school. When we begin our worfe again in the fall we are eonSdent you will come to our assistance as in times past M. S. BROWN, Supt.
