Off For Chickamauga
Last Friday on the 8:20 motor 21 of Ypsilanti's braves left for Chickamauga. Around the car was a crowd of rei&tives and friends to. give the boys a good send-ofC and a parting rood-bye from their immediate relativos. As the car pulled out the recraits wavéd their hats and cheered and the crowd answererl in the same manner. At Ann Arbor the boys were taken to the armory, which is headquarters of the battalion, where Ihey joined 24 1 Ann Arbor recruits and departed en the noon train over the Ann Arbor load. Corporal Kirk did not go with Ihem, but will remain for a few days until he recruits three more men. Following are the r.ames of those who left: Wm. Van Riper, Alabai Avery, Wm.
